What is Kobe University NEWS NET?
'Kobe University NEWS NET Committee' is a news medium operated by its students. It was established in 1995. Since then we have given news of students' clubs and teaching staff in Kobe University.
Our reporters cover any kind of news including academic discoveries, public lectures, personnel changes, sports results, big events such as Rokko Festival, stages etc. We provide news daily through the student paper 'Kobe University NEWS NET' and this website.

NEWS NET and the Great Hanshin Earthquake
We present the news of Kobe University everyday in our Japanese website. In our English website, we have 'a special edition for the Great Hanshin Earthquake', issued on Jan. 17, 1996, one year from the earthquake.
We have lost 44 fellow students and staffs for that terrible disaster. We have reported, and will continue to report, all the news that has anything to do with the earthquake.
