KOKORO-NET

Among foreign students, there are many living with their families

The circumstances of each family vary. Some bring their children from their home country, while they study in Japan. Many have left their jobs in their home country & arrive in Japan with minimal knowledge of the Japanese language & customs.

The origins of each family are diverse in that, even simple basics such as food, shelter, clothing, & more fundamentally their ideals & language differ tremendously.

KOKORO-NET is a support group that works towards creating a gratifying experience for the International Student Community, alongside the Japanese Community.

KOKORO Cafe familiarizes these students with Japanese culture, customs, as well as other International cultures.

The students are offered Japanese language courses & other support.

KOKORO-NET hopes to continue to accommodate the needs & improve the quality of living for families of students and scholars during their stay in Kobe.
